Automotive Parts Manager properly staffs the department, which includes hiring, training, motivating and monitoring the performance of all parts department staff.
Automotive Parts Managers maintain an orderly, organized and clean workplace.
Automotive Parts Managers create and oversee an annual operating budget for the parts department.
Automotive Parts Managers work with the sales and service department, collision repair and wholesale account representatives to ensure inventory is available when needed, along with accurate and competitive pricing .
Automotive Parts Managers establish competitive pricing specifications in various categories while generating sufficient profits and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Maintaining  appropriate inventory stocking levels while ensuring the industries standard for parts turns, day’s supply and repair order fill rate.
Adjusting stock to curtail accumulation of unused or old part obsolete parts.
Proper receipting, sourcing and coding of parts along with proper inventory reconciliation for accounting.
Reviewing sales figures, costs and stock monthly to ensure budget benchmarks are met.
Skills / Experience

As a Automotive Parts Manager, you will be experienced and aware of the latest automotive technologies and be a persistent problem solver. We have determined some factors that may enable your success as an Automotive Parts Manager:
Must have at least 5 years of experience in the automotive industry
Must have extensive knowledge of inventory management
Must have extensive knowledge of the development and management of the wholesale market and inventory
Knowledge of parts process.
Reynolds & Reynolds knowledge a must.
Valid driver's license
Able to pass background and drug screen.
